I am a visual artist and musician based in Ealing. I was born to Chinese immigrants from Singapore and Hong Kong. My practice explores the elusive territories that exist on the fringes of reality, in the in-between spaces where dualities blur. Informed by my affinity for Buddhist philosophy, my work seeks to unveil the interconnectedness of seemingly opposing elements, challenging conventional binaries. This pursuit weaves a consistent thread through my art, where I employ digital montage techniques, often using my own photographs. More recently, I have ventured into my extensive archive of family photos, providing a canvas for exploring identity, memory, and the process of reshaping narratives. In the realm of sound, I craft soundscapes by melding electronics, flute, and everyday found sounds. My sonic creations journey into uncharted territories and often accompany NASA footage. Beyond my artistic endeavours, I also take on the role of curator for Ealing Extranormal @ealingextranormal at OPEN Ealing Arts Centre, a monthly space for experimental musicians and innovative sound artists
