I² was born out of the collaboration between Isabella Coraça and Isabel Sachs. With complementary profiles, we founded I² to provide curatorial and cultural production services. Based out of London and São Paulo, we are dedicated to fostering young & new artistic practices. BIOS Isabel Sachs has over nine years of experience as a cultural producer with particular experience in Performance and Music. Born in Brazil, Isabel graduated in International Affairs at PUC-SP then earned an MA (with distinction) in Culture, Policy and Management, at City University, London, with a dissertation on curatorial practices in the performing arts. In the UK, Isabel tailored her experience at LIFT (London International Festival of Theatre) and the V&A (Victoria & Albert Museum). Isabel has produced major events and productions with her own company EUFORIA (www.euforiaproducoes.com), producing over 100 concerts, plays and music festivals such as Red Bull Technostalgia at Lollapalooza and Converse Rubbertracks Festival. EUFORIA has been awarded some of the most important recognitions in the industry, such as 5 Shell Theatre Prize nominations,Natura Musical Award, the Italo Rossi Award for Best Play, Best Direction and Lightning and the APCA (Sao Paulo Critics Association) Isabella Coraça has extensive archival and curatorial experience, having worked in major British institutions, such as the British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Museum of London, Historic Royal Palaces and Alexander McQueen’s archive. Born in Brazil, Isabella began her career as a fashion designer and jeweller, having graduated at the top of her year at Faculdade Santa Marcelina. Her final collection Collars was displayed at the 125 Kvadrat Gallery in Stockholm, as part of the exhibition ‘Eight Brazilian Design Students,’ curated by Professor Miriam Mirna Korolkovas. She then moved to London to pursue a second degree in Fashion History and Theory at Central Saint Martins, School of Arts and Design, graduating with first honours for her dissertation The Girl from Ipanema: Beach, Body, Beauty Carioca Style. Isabella is currently undergoing a Masters degree in Museum Studies at University College London, while working as a curatorial assistant at Kensington Palace.
