About

As part of the conference organized by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation on the occasion of the 200th birthday of Karl Marx, the social figure of the “dangerous classes,” which is being reactivated with the new austerity politics, is the focus of the panel “Dangerous Classes – Subjectivities between Revolt and Revolution,” afterwards the Kammerflimmer Kollektief will perform its improvised noise music. In cooperation with the International Heiner Müller Society and Futur II Konjunktiv, there will be round table discussions with experts like Bini Adamczak, Teresa Koloma Beck, Luise Meier, Kevin Rittberger, Noam Yurak, and Raul Zelik on the concepts desire-fetish-virtuosity. And for the first time in Germany you can see the film “Ceremony: The Return of Friedrich Engels” by the Berlin artist Phil Collins, documenting the journey of an Engels statue to Manchester.
