Roundtable Talk. Desire – Fetish – Virtuosity

The Marxian term “fetish” has lost nothing of its currency over the course of the centuries; “desire” and “virtuosity” structure our living and working circumstances in the diffuse field of what the capitalist system offers, compels and makes possible–be it with regard to money as a “commodity”, to gender relations, to (structural) violence and power relations, to forms of freedom or a longed for, revolutionary different life. We want to interrogate this terminological field from various perspectives in the participatory format of the Roundtable Talks.
