Maryline Brustolin has returned to her first love, contemporary art by opening the Salle Principale art gallery. Behind a beautiful glass façade in a building by Lacaton and Vassal, every year she proposes the work of five artists from different generations, resulting in constructive and innovative dialogue. The interior architecture is the work of Patrick Bouchain. In the 70sqm space of brushed concrete, he placed poplar wood display walls, rather like a theatre decor there to receive and accompany the artists in their work or reflection. So far the artists have included Lois Weinberger, Anne Vigier and Franck Apertet (les gens d'Uterpan), Dominique Mathieu, Stéphane Barbier-Bouvet, Matthieu Saladin and Gianni Pettena.
