Based out of Miami, Florida MARCANO/MALDONADO (MM) is an art consulting and project management firm, dedicated to nurturing new contemporary art by providing exhibition opportunities and resources for emerging and established artists. Hailing more than 30 years in the fine art industry Jose Marcano, a successful multidisciplinary artist and gallery director originally from Puerto Rico, applies his knowledge to the creation and promotion of international projects and exhibitions. Traveling extensively throughout South America and the Caribbean Jose has developed an innate sensibility to Latin American contemporary art and its position in today's ever growing international art market. The mission of MM is to promote art appreciation within the international community and assist with the process of art collecting, and generate resources that support artists’ creative endeavors. As a cultural advocate and entrepreneur Sharon Maldonado, originally from North Carolina with a background in fine art, administration and anthropology, draws back on her experience living and traveling throughout Europe to establish connections and use forward thinking solutions to maximize and sustain the integrity of the artists and their works. From exhibitions, corporate projects and major international art fairs; Marcano Maldonado has the experience, innovation and creativity to engage audiences through inspired campaigns and contemporary collections
