Elke Finkenauer is a visual artist working predominantly in sculpture and drawing. She has an MFA from The Glasgow School of Art (2015). Recent project ‘Fragments of a Method’ / ‘BitParts’ (2020–23), was a durational drawing project and analogue dataset, developed in parallel with research undertaken with Creative Informatics at the University of Edinburgh. In 2022 she was awarded the Glasgow Visual Artist and Craft Maker Bursary. She sits on the LUX (UK) Board of Trustees.
