VEDA started its activity as a project space on May 2016 in Florence, Italy.
The project founding proposition is to give invited artists the opportunity to confront their artistic practice within the architecture of the space, challenging them to overcome its intrinsic conditions.
VEDA operates with the aim of developing connections, collaborations and new ideas with artists and curators. Following this and the need to pursue a deeper dialogue with the artist's practices, VEDA decided to become an art gallery in 2017.
