Galerie Rudolfinum is located in the historical building of Rudolfinum in Prague together with the Czech Philharmonic. As a state non-profit organisation Galerie Rudolfinum focuses mainly on presenting contemporary visual arts. The gallery is known as Kunsthalle, a concept based on organising temporary exhibitions without a permanent collection. Galerie Rudolfinum significantly enriches the Czech art scene by regularly presenting international artists such as David LaChapelle, Damien Hirst, Louise Bourgeois and Georg Baselitz. Czech artists are also represented with exhibitions of Mikuláš Medek and František Skála. The last interactive project was dedicated to Jiří Černický.
