Belgorod Fine Art National Museum, one of the young art museums in Russia, was founded in 1983. The museum’s collection is represented by Russian (Soviet) art of the XX-XXI centuries. Chronologically, the collection covers the period from the first decade of the XX century to the present day. The permanent exposition «Russian Art of the ХХ -XXI centuries» gives an idea about the basic stages of development of national art. It also contains a number of significant works by famous artists of that period.
