Borstal Space is proud to present an evening of compositions by the Polish artist Wojciech Kosma.
Wojciech Kosma's practice begins with a score composed for the human body, within this system participants become their own instruments, notation is reduced to bodily action. His instructions result in instantly performable acts that make participating simpler than the act of viewing.
Within Borstal Space, Wojciech Kosma has prepared a list of scores that will be carried out as a series of performances and actions throughout the opening night.
These will continue after the initial event, to generate new variations of the performances, culminating with a collaborative work and discussion between Oliver Laric and Wojciech Kosma on Saturday the 12th December at Donlon Books E2 9NQ.
Wojciech Kosma is an artist and composer. His events could have been seen recently in the New Museum in New York, Goldsmiths University in London, Overgaden in Copenhagen, Boutique Monaco in Seoul, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the Chilean Embassy in Paris, Image Music Text Gallery in London or heard on Herbst Radio in Berlin
