School of the Damned: Building an Active Archive

School of the Damned: Building an Active Archive is intended as a two-day public facing symposium. The first day aims to bring together all existing five years of School of the Damned for the first time to collate, through a series of conversational workshops, debates and discussions, the experiences, resources and knowledge accumulated so far. The second day aims to open up this collation to the public and to other alternative art schools for critique through a series of chaired round-table discussions. A shared meal will conclude the programme. The active archive is the productive residue of this symposium. The current year of School of the Damned will initiate the archive with the intention that it is used as an online resource that anyone can access and contribute to. The class hope that it will function as an investigative tool for future years of School of the Damned and for those interested in engaging with and facilitating alternative ways of learning.
