Journeys Festival International introduces Reckoning - a multimedia short film created in collaboration with European artists - telling stories of generations of displaced people in their own words.

Reckoning is a multimedia short film created by a collaboration of Liberty EU Portfolio artists: Choreographer and storyteller Akeim Toussaint Buck, videographer Ashley Karrell, animator Benedetta Fason and writer mandla rae. Weaving together contemporary lyrical dance, archive, animation and storytelling, Reckoning was created from the Reckoning with Refugeedom archives which tell the stories of generations of displaced people.
To celebrate refugee week we will be sharing a teaser trailer for this forthcoming short film. For Journeys Festival International (October 14 - 24) the work will be developed further into a live show.
