Piper had a career long interest in abstraction, not only for painting but designs for mosaics, tapestries, book jackets and theatre sets.
About
This abstraction workshop will teach you about figure ground relationships, which are at the heart of understanding abstract art. You can then make your own abstract artwork based on what we have explored through Piper’s work – which means you can choose whether to make a painting or create a design for another medium like he did.
