Travel Information
Bus: The 20, 100 and 101 buses from Hastings train station stop at the Stade bus stop which is a short walk away.
Train: Hastings Contemporary is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from Hastings train station. Direct train services run regularly to London, Brighton and Ashford International.
At Hastings Contemporary we bring world-class modern and contemporary art to a spectacular coastal setting. The gallery welcomes everybody, and through our exhibitions and activities we aim to enrich lives by offering new experiences, supporting creativity and helping our town to thrive.
Our award-winning building is situated right on the seafront, among Hastings’s famous net huts and the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in Europe. Over the last 11 years we have established ourselves as a celebrated cultural hub for the South East.
Members and under 18s go free. Local residents go half price.
