Artist and curator Sarah Kogan will discuss her multimedia Battle of the Somme arts project, Changing the Landscape, which is being exhibited at The National Archives.

About

Sarah Kogan artist, curator and producer of Changing the Landscape, the first contemporary art exhibition at The National Archives in the centenary year of the Battle of the Somme, will discuss her artistic process and the story behind her journey back to The Western Front to follow in her great uncle Rifleman Barney Griew's footsteps.   The discussion will be accompanied by a reading of letters from mapmaker Griew's unqiue illustrated archive, sent back to Hackney one hundred years ago.
