The Individual in Conflict is a special evening of talks to accompany Changing the Landscape contemporary art exhibition at The National Archives.

About

Changing the Landscape is delighted to present a special programme of talks with a Q and A panel discussion. Award winning photographer Dr Stuart Franklin will discuss his work capturing the 1989 protests in Tiananmen Square, including the now iconic image Tank Man. Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist Dr. Tim McInerny will explore the relationship between the First World War, mental illness and the subsequent developments in psychiatric care. Principal Military Specialist at The National Archives, William Spencer, will offer a personal and professional viewpoint in relation to the Battle of the Somme and the war as a whole.
