About

Saturday 12 September 2020: 1-4pm : FREE Art as Therapyworkshop by Emma Mills

Please email toma@metalculture.com to book a slot on this workshop (max 8ppl)

This will be a 3-hour experiential workshop where participants will be invited to make art in response to a given theme. As well as time to make art in a safe and contained space, there will be a presentation on the effects of art as therapy. We will reflect on the art making within the session. We welcome anyone interested in the theme of art as therapy. You do not have to be an experienced artist or someone who regularly makes art.

Emma is a Visiting Lecturer on the MA in Art Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths University and responsible for the Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse MA.

Please note: spaces will be very limited to ensure safe social distancing within the space.
