Join us for a storytelling about Greek legend Orpheus and his ability to charm all living things with his music and learn to make your own Lyre instrument.

About

Fausto Melotti was very inspired by music and mythical characters, one of which was the ancient Greek legend Orpheus who charmed all living things by playing his golden Lyre, a stringed instrument like a small U-shaped harp. Join us for a storytelling to hear all about him and learn to make your own magical Lyre to take away.

This is a drop-in workshop so no booking is required. Free for children accompanied by a paying adult.

About the exhibition
Organized in collaboration with Milan’s Fondazione Fausto Melotti, the exhibition Fausto Melotti: Counterpoint includes key works reflecting the various strands of the artist’s oeuvre, and is the first institutional show to be dedicated to Melotti’s work in Britain.
