Mojgan Razzaghi was born in 1974 in Iran-Tehran and currently based in Germany. She graduated from Azad University Art & Architecture in Tehran with a bachelor's degree in photography (1995-1999). Mojgan is a member of the Hanauer Kulturverein and the Frankfurter Künstlergesellschaft. During her professional life, She has always been particularly interested in one topic which is : "The WOMEN". Much of Mojgan’s inspiration originates from being Iranian woman , living in religious and traditional society. She explores all women’s affairs and rights, not specifically the women in Iran with the same culture, but also women all over the world with their different personal and social conditions and backgrounds. She tries to challenge traditional notions of religion, identity and the social role of women in her artworks. Indeed, laws that restrict women’s rights are present in dozens of developed and developing countries worldwide, no matter from which culture they come, there are so many red lines and limitations, Collectively, they affect almost every aspect of women’s lives. However women, despite all restrictions, are able to be creative, to be free, to play musical instruments, to sing and to stand upright in everything. They also try to overcome all these numerous barriers and challenge all forms of equality. Mojgan represents her thoughts, feelings and experiences from her personal life as a woman through her artworks, Although her works show limiting frames, paradoxes, suffocation which are invisible most of the time, they can be at the same time aesthetic.
