Kat Buchanan is an artist who works across live performance and film to elevate the realm of the mundane. With DIY energy, enthusiasm for glittering cabaret clubs and second hand clothes, she throws celebrations of dismal failures and exposes our unattainable expectations. Works have been described as hilariously absurd and like a very chewy sweet– enticing, but sometimes difficult to digest – relating to the age that she is and the age we are in. A common response is: 'I wish I'd been there!' ... so be there.
