Ania Gubernat was born in Gliwice in 1984. In 2008, she defended her Diploma in Painting at Prof. Włodzimierz Dudkowiak’s studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań (today: University of Arts in Poznań). Since 2015 she has been a PhD student at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing of the University of Arts in Poznań. She lives and works in Poznań.
