First opened in June 2012, York Street Gallery is operated by Ramsgate Artist Mike Samson. The Gallery aims to provide 'low cost' exhibition space for Kent artists and groups. Operating on a "Not for profit" basis. In December 2012 the Gallery was awarded with the "Town Image Award" For services to Art in the town, by the Ramsgate Society. In 2013 & 2014 the Gallery won an award for local tourism. Every week the gallery has a different exhibition by a local artist or group. Gallery Opening Times Monday - Closed Tuesday - Saturday - 10.30am - 4.00pm Sunday - 11am - 4pm (Or by appointment outside normal hours) The Gallery is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.
