Parisian Laundry is one of Canada’s leading private contemporary art galleries. Opened in 2007 and situated in the vibrant city of Montreal, the gallery is dedicated to the presentation of critical solo exhibitions of its represented artists, while hosting international artists through an invitational platform.
Parisian Laundry embraces a diversity of practices with a focus on painting, sculpture and site-specific installation. The gallery is engaged in the international art community through the implementation of temporary satellite projects in Berlin, Toronto and New York, as well as consistent art fair participation. This critical international visibility is an essential aspect of the gallery’s mandate.
The gallery occupies two floors of a 15 000 square foot restored industrial building. Parisian Laundry’s integrity and commitment to the dissemination of contemporary art practices provides visitors with a rigorous curatorial perspective within an exciting and atypical environment.
