Oblong Contemporary Art Gallery is an Italian art gallery committed to promoting contemporary art through exhibitions and other initiatives. The gallery, which includes offices in Dubai, Forte dei Marmi, and Florence, operates both locally and on an international artistic platform.

Its mission and vision are to create a preeminent global arena for culture and the arts. With solo and group exhibitions, works of art by Italian and foreign authors of the highest quality are shown; and at the same time workshops, educational activities as well as cultural and creative exchange initiatives between the United Arab Emirates and Italy are offered. While operating with a gaze and an approach aimed at the whole world, Oblong Contemporary Art Gallery is deeply rooted in the Italian artistic and cultural context: its vision aims to "export" across the border, the cultured and passionate love for sculpture and visual arts.

Oblong Contemporary Gallery in Florence is located in one of the most unique and special locations of the city.

The gallery space is set up in a deconsacrated church in Piazza del Carmine, which was initially used by the confraternity of the Chapel of Santa Agnese, the frescoed chapel on the left side of the Carmine church.

Towards the end of the 18th century, the rooms leaning against the church and used by the friars, in bad conditions, were alienated and sold. Among the various activities that occupied the deconsecrated church, there was a carpenter and subsequent restaurants. The beautiful mezzanine we have today is the work of an important architect, Italo Rota, while the appearance of the beautiful alcove where Oblong Contemporary's artists are now located is a neo-Gothic chapel, repainted in the late 19th century, making the space one of the most interesting and particular locations for a contemporary art gallery.
