The Harris Museum & Art Gallery is founded on the ideals of collecting 'the art of the day'. Within the walls of a magnificent Grade 1 listed neo-classical building in the heart of Preston City Centre, you'll find the old and the new complementing each other with new media works alongside Victorian and 20th century paintings, sculpture and ceramics.
The Harris has built a enviable reputation for its contemporary art programme, working with nationally and internationally-recognised artists.
