Small Collages, Watercolour Studies and Brush Drawings by William Pullen.
William Pullen graduated from Edinburgh University and Art College in 1984 with a First Class MA in Fine Art. After being awarded first prize in the Hunting Group National Art Competition in 1987 and a Royal Scottish Academy Travel Scholarship, he focused his work on the architectural motifs and landscapes of Italy using the now rare technique of tempera. Pullen has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and Bedales Gallery in 200. Pullen staged a solo exhibition of collages, "Strange Flowers", at GalleryMuse in 2013.
This exhibition of abstract, brilliantly coloured, collaged papers with paint alongside calligraphies drawn with a brush is inspired by forms and motifs in patterns of growth and movement.
