Located in the John Spoor Broome Library, the mission of the Broome Gallery is to present a wide range of artists, themes, and media and expose CI students, faculty and staff, as well as the community to diverse artistic views and conceptual possibilities. The aim of the gallery is to provide the visual and theoretical platform that supports the mission of the university and the four pillars of the Academic Programs: International Perspectives, Interdisciplinary Studies, Multicultural Views and Community Engagement. Additional exhibitions include the CI Faculty Collaborations series, held in the spring semester and Artist-Teacher, held in the fall. Faculty members have been regularly included in the Broome exhibition program, as both curators and artists.
