On Thursday, December 8th, Pocko is delighted to present our new exhibition and Épopée book launch, featuring a series of installations created by Paris based collective, Parallele Zero alongside a soundscape performed by Faery, London-based DJ and sound artist.
About
This show brings together selected works by Parallele Zero, a Parisian photography-set designer duo alongside a soundscape performed by Faery, London-based DJ and sound artist.
Parallele Zero’s still-life photographs employ the interplay of weightless and soft elements creating playful images which with their lightness are giving their observer a sense of incredible tranquillity. One is submerging into this utopia like in Kundera’s Unbearable Lightness of Being. In their fantasy palettes Johanne and Violaine are inspired by the harmony and colours of nature’s blossoms. Épopée, an epic poem in French, is a summary of the duo's creative percorse.
Faery is a London-based DJ whose hypnotic selections weave together the psychedelic reaches of deep techno, tripped-out 90s psy, and dark, vortex-like DnB. A lover of both pitched-down chuggers and fast-paced rollers alike, her sound connects the dots through a focus on intricate sound design and rich, moody textures.
