Zuzanna Suchon is an Artist, Visionary and Creative, adapting the tradition of paper cut outs into the modern day aesthetic through application of personalised iconography and the use of technology.
Zuzanna's creative output is full of mystique and esotericism, aiming to resonate with the audience on a subconscious level.
Having dedicated most of 2015 to creative practice, the time has come to start unveiling the new body of work marking the new beginnings and broadening the application of designs to interiors. The objective was to create highly ornamental, breathtaking and inspirational décor that adds unique character to the environment it's in. Think art nouveau meets art déco with an ethno-futuristic twist.
Dreams and Solutions Showcase will feature a display of small scale lightboxes and light "statement" pieces - an artist's take on functional art. These contemplative works are meant to inspire and elevate the viewer. Combining complex decorum and light, the works unveil an ethereal, almost religious quality about them.
About the artist:
Zuzanna Suchon is a Polish artist based in London working predominantly with the medium of hand-cut paper cut outs and laser cut designs. Fascinated with Visionary and Outsider Art, Zuzanna created her own symbolic language, often referring to a "visual stream of consciousness" when working on new ideas. Due to heavy use of ornament and New Age symbolism, her work emanates hints of playfulness, mysticism and spirituality and therefore immediately connects with the viewer. Zuzanna graduated from a Drawing Degree at Camberwell College of Arts, she has exhibited in galleries in London and Poland.
