A solo show of works by Abi Freckleton whose ceramic, painted and mixed-media installations explore the physical nature of visual perception.

About

Gallery 49 presents recent work by Abi Freckleton.

Freckleton works in a wide range of media including ceramic, plaster, found and modified objects, photographic and video fragments, sticky tape and painted surfaces.

Here she presents her most recent studio investigations into the spatial, temporal and multi-dimensional nature of visual perception.  Loosely prompted by the poem Mirror by Sylvia Plath the works negotiate the tenuous boundaries between object, surface, image and body.

Abi Freckleton lives and works in London. She graduated from Chelsea College of Art in 2013. Abi has recently exhibited in ‘Little Mountains’ at Embassy Tea Gallery, ‘FROM’ at Hotel Elephant, as well as a solo show at the L-Gallery WK London.
