Taking the work of Charles Avery as a starting point, drawing will be used as a way to record a short-lived fantastical specimen. We will discuss how drawing is still an important way of recording what we find in the world. Participants will draw, annotate, write descriptions and take samples to document what is seen.
About
No cameras or recording devices will be allowed into the workshop. The resulting drawings, descriptions and samples will be published online as a micro site/artwork with each participant listed as a contributing artist.
