Learn how to make an effective woodcut print in several clear stages. each attendee will produce an edition of black and white prints, with the opportunity to add colour on day 2.

This workshop is ideal for beginners but suitable for all abilities.

Margot took up painting in the 1980s after a successful career in nursing. She studied art at Banbury and Leamington Spa and now predominantly concentrates on printmaking. She was elected as an associate of the RBSA in 2007, and was made a full member in 2014. Margot has exhibited work in Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol, France and Germany. Regularly giving talks and classes locally, Margot is a member of the Oxford Printmakers Co-operative and the Association of Midland Artists. Her work features in private collections in Britain, France, Germany, Sweden and the USA. Margot’s subject matter constantly evolves depending on new locations and interests. Recent themes include street entertainers, landscapes, flowers, birds and insects. She also produces abstract compositions inspired by the texture of natural and man-made surfaces.

Places are limited to 10 students per workshop. Allocation will take place on a first come first served basis, subject to receipt of full non-transferable and non-refundable payment. 

The RBSA Gallery reserves the right to withdraw the course. In this eventuality, you will be notified and fully refunded.
