About
What is spatial sound? What are the spatial arts? What is the significance of this emerging medium in contemporary culture?
As we edge closer to an era of seamlessly integrated ‘immersive’ media, spatial sound is playing an increasingly important role in the way that we build spaces and experiences and how we communicate.
Over an intensive 8 hour immersive course, Monoms Co-Founder and Creative Director William Russell will take you through the basic theoretical concepts and practical steps for how spatial sound practices and methodologies can add another dimension to a wide variety of disciplines and artistic practices:
Musicians
Game designers & VR/AR/XR developers
Multimedia artists focusing on the spatial possibilities of new interactive paradigms: sound designers, visual artists, 3D environment designers, experiential designers working with physical space
Machine-learning specialists
Choreographers & dancers
Actors, directors and scenographers
Physical & movement therapists
Duration 8 hours
Level: OPEN
In English
Price: 100€ 10% discount for students
Please note: As it stands, the workshop will be held live in the studio under the regulation 2G+
