It’s that time of year again! We are back at the Menier Gallery for our third annual Winter Exhibition. Showcasing the work of nineteen contemporary artists; both emerging and established international talent. This Christmas we promise to bring you our best group exhibition yet!
About
We are still working with many of the original artists who first exhibited with us and now their careers are coming fully into bloom. These passionate individuals have been honing their conceptual and aesthetic techniques and we are very excited to bring you their latest artworks, along with a number of recently discovered gems.
Featured Artists
Milenna Saraiva - having exhibited in our international exhibition Interseçoes this year, we are lucky to be bringing you the work of this incredible Brazilian artist and champion speed painter.
Brad Kenny - A Focus LDN veteran, Brad continues to push the boundaries with his captivating portraits, utilising masterful brush strokes and carefully considered palettes.
Aurelie Freoua - A riot of colour takes place on Aurelie’s canvases and recently she’s been exploring mural and performance art - with people getting covered in paint and dancing in the streets!
Gary Hogben - Stamping his mark on the art scene, Gary uses postage stamps to create iconic pop art which always provokes the curiosity of his audiences.
Laurence Causse-Parsley - Our abstract urban landscape aficionado; Laurence’s paintings are forever growing in their authenticity and character, more recently she has been exploring beyond the canvas - watch out for her table tops and colourful boots!
Brian Reinker - Coming in with architectural precision and a love of topography and cartography; Brian’s immaculate work is always framed with equivalent study. Each of his unique series always prove to be highly collectable.
Farah Bellio - Emerging to prominence; Farah’s artworks are explorative and raw. With light colours and florescent tones; her contemporary style can find it’s place in any modern home.
Paul Kingsley Squire - With a reputation for super thick abstract landscapes which take months to dry and his “Metamorphica” series of his anthropomorphised animals; Paul is back with us this Christmas with his latest masterpieces.
Tom Cox - Hot off the heels of his first international exhibition in São Paulo, Brazil, Tom’s paintings brings you the city in all its nuance and expression. And he is taking no prisoners, promising us an entirely new collection for each exhibition.
Ernesto Romano - Skulls, glitter and the human anatomy - Ernesto is a Focus LDN favourite; with iconic, yet original, motifs his approach to colour and printmaking is always evolving - watch out for the diamante queen of skulls!
Edwin Louis - the man behind the camera! You may have spotted Edwin filming our events - now you get the chance to see his atmospheric and alluring photography. He captures intimacy like no-one else!
Laurence Cammas - Asian inspired artworks which pack a punch; laced with humour and pop culture these artworks are great statement pieces.
Hermione Carline - Beautifully ethereal mono-prints and paintings depicting Chinese mountains and flat planes, these delicately layered landscapes have a peaceful effect an are gorgeous to behold.
Esra Kizir Gokcen - Multi award winning international artist. We wouldn’t blame you for getting lost in one of Esra’s surreal landscapes, they are as captivating as they are original.
Benedict Johnson - Having photographed for the Royal Academy of Arts and many of central London’s finest galleries, we are lucky to now see Benedict’s personal collection of photography.
Pedro Sousa Louro - Our abstract expressionist genius. Pedro never fails to amaze us with his production of beautifully layered and personally framed paintings; with detailed balance in his colours and adept angular marks.
Loosh - Loosh loves to bring you into the natural world with her exploration of organic, spiritual and personal motifs.
Jonathan Gray - Jonathan has been with us since the start with his loose, sketch and watercolour city scenes.
