Black Box curatorial projects are proud to present Billy Fraser's 'White Rabbit.'

About

'White Rabbit' by Billy Fraser is human experience within the technological sublime. Through creating a kind of self-contained hi-tech diorama, the artist presents our human perspective in the face of sublimity of technology, embodying our viewpoint and perception in the 3D printed figure of a couple sat on a bench, submerging it within a flurry of code, numbers, data, surrounding and encapsulating it within the resin cube. The reflection of a digital world is a picture of an omnipresence which permeates our reality, shapes our experience, whether in the form of limitless communication, 3D printing, binary code, data transfer, renewable energy or any other aspect. The work epitomizes both a fascination with the digital world and an all-surrounding uncertainty of what is to come.
