Wet Plate Collodion weekend workshop with John Brewer.
About
Learn the trade of the Wet Plate Collodion photographic printing, with the Victorian Photographer himself, John Brewer.
Wet Plate Collodion was an early C19th photographic process of printing an image from a camera, on both glass (ambrotype), or aluminum (tintype).
This workshop will be split over two days. The first part of the workshop will be a morning lecture to understand the history of the process. After lunch we will learn the basics of printing photographic images on glass.
The second day will be more hands on, and the entirety spent shooting, developing and printing your images on aluminum.
