Offer yourself time-off and reconnect with your creativity in a quiet artist studio at the heart of effervescent Brixton. Our collage workshops are offered on a weekly basis, accessible to all, new or expert gluers alike...
About
You can pick one session only or get the benefit of the educational content by attending a series of classes. During Friday evening sessions we let ourselves be inspired by the works of collage artists such as Hannah Höch, Jean Arp, Matisse, Sir Eduardo Paolozzi… Saturday morning classes will allow you to explore visual composition further, whilst the afternoon sessions have a personal development flavour.
All materials are provided, from beautifully textured hand-painted papers to quality magazines and photocopies of vintage illustrations. Most classes begin with a short introduction to the theory of visual composition.
Run by artist and collage enthusiast Eleonore Pironneau in her studio, the laid-back workshops are suitable for all (14+).
This workshop is spread over 3 sessions:
Friday: 7pm - 9:30pm, Saturday: 10am - 12:30 pm; 2pm - 4:30pm
Not sure? Try our TASTER SESSION! Thursdays 7pm, only £15!
