A new book of poems by Michael Shann, illustrated by Kirsten Schmidt with accompanying exhibition of prints.
About
From catching a glimpse of a Kingfisher on the Walthamstow Marshes to imagining a night at the Granada and admiring a drawing in the William Morris Gallery, join us on a poetic journey of Walthamstow.
Illustrations were all drawn in situ, and the book is handprinted and hand-bound by E17 letterpress publisher Paekakariki Press.
Exhibition launch from 11am Sunday 31st May, followed by Poetry Walk.
Poetry Walk: 1pm meet at E17 Art House.
Michael Shann will lead a reading walk around Walthamstow locations featured in his new book of poems. The walk will take approximately 2 hours and leave E17 Art House at 1pm Sunday 31st May.
