The Walking Through Flowers exhibition at the Fairhurst Gallery celebrates the calming qualities of the natural world; with luxurious surface patterns by Claire Coles, accompanied by bespoke furniture from Par Avion and hand thrown ceramic pottery by Louise Farnes.
About
The Fairhurst Gallery presents Walking Though Flowers, an exhibition celebrating finding solace in nature; the uplifting, revitalising qualities of spring time blooms, with the air of rebirth and fresh beginnings.
In her Norwich debut since living and working in London, gaining international notoriety with brands such as Perrier Jouét champagne to Liberty of London, Claire Coles shares her personal journey through flowers with the Fairhurst Gallery, as she depicts and reinterprets flora and fauna in her decorative surface patterns, from appliqué and embroidery to print.
Accompanied by local creatives, bespoke furniture by Par Avion and hand thrown pottery from Louise Farnes, the Walking Through Flowers installation pinpoints the calming pleasure the natural world can inspire, when life is slowed down to appreciate the finer details.
