  • From the beach by car: Follow Marine Gardens to Cecil Square and go straight over onto Union Crescent down the side of the Post Office. Take the second left onto Addington Street and Carroway's Place is on the right. Please park on Addington Stree
  • From the Old Town on foot: Follow King Street from the seafront across Hawley Street. Continue until you see AMF Bowling on the right and turn right into Addington Street. Carroway's Place is the second road on the left before you get to the cross

Solo exhibition of paintings by Tracey Edges at SKYLIGHT STUDIOS EXHIBITION GALLERY, 1o Carroway's Place, Margate, Kent, CT9 1QX www.skylightstudios.net This is Tracey's first exhibition in Margate and she will be available most of the time if you would like to discuss her work. Her inspirations are both coastal and urban and reflect subjects that she feels strongly about. 'Walk This Way' is from the title of her painting which was inspired by the perceived ripple-effect of the Turner Contemporary opening in Margate and its influence on the regeneration of Margate itself. It will only have an influence if its many visitors 'walk this way' and discover the lovely Old Town, full of independent shops and eateries, and explore further which will help to support the local traders and speed up the regeneration. Tracey was brought up in the seaside resort of Cleethorpes and can see many similarities in the rise, fall and the start of the re-rise of both of these towns.
