Songwriter and musician Viv Albertine, formerly of post-punk band The Slits, discusses her new memoir To Throw Away Unopened with BBC Arts Producer and co-programmer of Borderlines Book Festival, Serena Field

About

As a special finissage event for the exhibition, Female Trouble by Paula Rego and Rebecca Scott, we welcome author and musician Viv Albertine, formerly of post-punk band The Slits, to discuss her new memoir To Throw Away Unopened with BBC Arts Producer and co-programmer of Borderlines Book Festival, Serena Field.

"With the inimitable blend of humour, vulnerability, and intelligence that makes Viv Albertine one of our finest authors working today, To Throw Away Unopened smashes through layers of propriety and leads us into a new place of savage self-discovery."

The event includes a late viewing of the exhibition, in its final weekend.
