The first solo exhibition of illustrator and urban artist AliHamish.
About
AliHamish is an artist trained as an illustrator. In the last three years his work evolved into mural painting and drawing on various surfaces. An early inspiration, which came from his family background was the American culture and style from the 20th century - from psychadelic rock, surrealism and painters such as Salvador Dali, Francis Bacon and the British illustrator Ralph Steadman. His work represents a collusion of peculiar patterns, sound inspired images, sometimes mexican culture and susceptible mind states. Many of Hamish's work is an exploration of native American narratives, urban myths, unverse's mysteries which process gives birth to a mix of aesthetics and bizzarities.
