BRIXLIB EDITION TWO 'VENUS IN VAIN - FEEL IT ALL'
Collagistes Collective proudly present Venus In Vain’s first London Solo Exhibition “I made my first Collage in my Teens!
Music has always been an important part of my life; way before starting to realise the effect that art had on me."

About

"VENUS IN VAIN - FEEL IT ALL" Originally hailing  from Greece, Venus has been a long standing resident of London.

She is a DJ and Collagiste whose Collage is Abstract, she completes in imperfectim, coupling her post-punk sensibilities into multi-media Handcut Collage  that is a world away from high-concept , or easily defined!

"Collage makes me feel alive and really 'present'.

In most of my Collage you can see the influence of post punk, 'listen' is a Collage Work On Leather and a  song title from a new band called VIRVON VARVON. The majority of my work originated as my response to music.

In other pieces  I express how I felt at a particular point in my life. That's why the title of the show “FEEL IT ALL”  is not just another title from another band (this one from HOLY NOW) ; but it entirely represents my art and all my feelings put onto paper.

'Feeling it all' is part of life and I embrace it all as it comes.”

ARRIVAL:  Brixton Library has free Wi-Fi for members, disabled access, is served by numerous London Buses, British Rail And London Underground Victoria Line
