Temporal Shift:

The culmination of experimental and thought-provoking work from MA Photography Arts offers a kaleidoscope of explorations within photographic practice. Pushing the boundaries of the medium with an ambitious display of photographic prints, sculpture, video and performance, the works provide an exciting return to the physical space of the gallery. Students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds delicately navigate universal themes such as loss, memory, connection and place, while also raising compelling questions about truth and identity.

ADRIFT presents the work of eight contemporary documentary photographers and their explorations using photography as a medium for storytelling. Each display, devoted to a single artist, offers various ways of telling, recording and evaluating the environments in which we live and breathe. Featuring the work of students and artists from around the globe, covering a multitude of themes, ADRIFT is an opportunity to view a robust collection of contemporary practice.
