Under Construction is a day-long platform featuring nine work-in-progress performances developed through the east.by.south.east project. This is a fantastic opportunity to see innovative contemporary performance in the making. The event is free and all are welcome to come and give their own opinions through the chaired discussions.
The platform will feature works-in-progress by a host of the UK's most exciting emergent artists. For a full list and details of artist's presenting work, please see our website.
east.by.south.east is a two-year Arts Council funded project that will develop and enrich the infrastructure for the creation, presentation and touring of live art and contemporary performance practices in the East and South-East regions. The project is a partnership between
The Basement, Brighton; Colchester Arts Centre, The Gulbenkian Theatre, Canterbury; The Junction, Cambridge; The Point, Eastleigh and The Showroom, Chichester.
Both sessions are free to attend. Please note the events have a restricted capacity, so be sure to arrive promptly to avoid disappointment.
