UKIYO / Transient world. Solo art show presented by Gone Rogue featuring Japanese artist SAKI. Showcasing new original wood block paintings, prints, and khadi pencil sketches.
About
As her first solo show as SAKI, previously known as ‘SAKI and Bitches’ these artworks have been created solely for this exhibition, here at ME LONDON Hotel. Through a process of nurture, self acceptance and healing, SAKI has used self-reference for the first time to create this incredible collection of personal works. This is her journey.
“This fleeting world just like the cherry blossom, ceaseless, beautiful but fragile. Capture this moment.
Moments of hesitation that are too raw to confront. Like a mirror in all her power with milky skin and undisguised stares she is terrified and understands who she is meant to be. Through the process of creation she endures and heals the wounds and the pain to reveal her true self. Sharing moments with her creations around her. She is grateful. Her mind shifts as does the fragile universe around us. Touch this moment and it is gone. Nothing is forever, it is constantly separating but she takes courage in who she has created.
