Workshop with David Brammeld RBSA
Learn how to draw striking treescapes in pencil and graphite through a variety of techniques and expressive handling.

About

Learn how to draw striking treescapes in pencil and graphite through a variety of techniques and expressive handling. Suitable for all abilities, including beginners.

David is a painter whose subject matter is the ever-changing urban built environment - and the way in which it affects our daily lives. David also has an interest in the natural landscape and produces treescapes – preferring trees as they are in late autumn, winter or early spring when they are devoid of leaves, revealing their inner strength, structure and beauty. An award-winning artist with many years experience, David works in various media: graphite, pastel, acrylic and oil as well as mixed media. He runs a series of art classes and is in demand as a demonstrator and workshop leader. David exhibits nationally and his work has featured in exhibitions at the Mall Galleries - in annual shows by the Pastel Society, the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), the New English Art Club (NEAC) and the Royal Society of Oil Painters (ROI). In 2014 David was elected as member of the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA).
