About
Treatment is a dystopian futuristic hospital setting based upon the concept of the repercussions of the present-day austerity crisis, and focuses directly upon the current National Health Service situation. This installation work conceptualizes the utilization of everyday, and found objects to achieve an essential practical use for medical purposes, in a dystopian future where such luxuries would be difficult to obtain.
This interactive collection of ready-made items has been fused together to form purpose built dangerous functioning sculptures, relevant towards medical practice. The inclusion of sound, scent and visuals are intended to enhance the atmosphere and the experience for the audience.
