UCA is proud to present a major solo exhibition by one of world’s leading contemporary ceramists.

About

Transition II is Odundo’s ambitious large scale installation of one thousand hand blown glass vessels suspended across the gallery. In its use of form, light and space Transition II is both a contemplative and poetic work and is characteristic of Odundo’s wider artistic practice. The exhibition coincides with UCA’s inauguration of Odundo as Emerita Professor and celebrates her illustrious teaching career at the University for the Creative Arts.

Transition II was part of Tri-part -it-us an exhibition originally commissioned and staged by the National Glass Centre, Sunderland, 2014.
